Ever since I was a kid, I love to preserve memories and moments. I was the one to keep receipts, tickets, price stubs, rocks, you name it from every vacation, trip, night out with friends and so forth. Now I find it much easier to take pictures of everything so I won't forget that moment.
When I was photographed for my senior pictures I had a blast and thought "This would be a fun job and so easy, all you do is take pictures all day!" So at that moment I decided I wanted to become a photographer. WOW!! I was wrong!! Owning your own business is no joke and there is so much more than "taking pictures all day". It may not be easy but it is fun and I love it!
I love preserving that innocence in a 2 year olds eyes, the tiny little wrinkles of a new baby, the proud stance of a one year old, the love between a bride and groom, the past and the future of the high school senior and capturing "the (life)stage" of a family.
Every person that is a subject in front of the camera becomes more than a client or a session, they become a face with a name. Every session is as unique as the child or family that I am capturing.
You can't stop, pause or rewind life, you can only live in the moment. Nothing is harder to replace than yesterday. That's why I do this... to preserve moments in time.
